Detects requests through WebSEAL whose URI or query string carries exploitation
characteristics. As a reverse proxy, WebSEAL sees the full request before it reaches
the application, which makes it the right place to catch attempts against back-end
systems that log very little themselves.
Onboarding: ISAM-WEBSEAL is ingested via Syslog (Bloo extractor 85).
Integration guide: https://bloo.io/docs/hypercloud/syslog-connector
BQL (Bloo Query Language):
stream=webserver where sourcename='ISAM-WEBSEAL'
| groupby url, uriquery, method, returncode, srcip, useragent

IOC sweep for P7 DarkSword / Coruna: known file hashes, C2/exploit-host IPs, domains and URLs against Defender device file and network events. Tightened to public IPs, connection action types, exact hosts/subdomains and path-qualified URLs; the shared AWS IP is only matched with its C2 port.
Correlates a delivered PDF attachment with the same user's browser visiting Mir0Auth C2-style paths within 4 hours. Restricted to browser processes and successful connections, excludes dev/code-hosting domains, and matches users by mailbox alias (DeviceInfo LoggedOnUsers holds UserName, not full email).
Suspicious Connection to Custom GPT
Cortex XDR
Detects outbound web traffic to OpenAI ChatGPT Custom GPTs where the URL slug contains keywords potentially indicative of unauthorized or non-standard usage, such as keywords implying premium, professional, or official status, which could be used as a cover for data exfiltration or credential gathering via malicious or typo-squatted GPT instances.
Sweeps network, process command-line and URL-click telemetry for the Kimsuky payload C2 domain and its subdomains using an anchored match, which avoids lookalike or suffix-matching domains.
Sweeps proxy, firewall and endpoint network telemetry for requests to the three published BraZetsu Pastebin dead-drop raw URLs used to retrieve the XOR-encrypted C2 config.
Detects HTTP requests targeting Microsoft Exchange servers that combine the autodiscover.json URI with PowerShell endpoint parameters, indicative of ProxyNotShell vulnerabilities exploitation (CVE-2022-41040 and CVE-2022-41082).
Detects historical network connections, URL clicks, browser launches, email URLs, and process command lines associated with Wazza phishkit infrastructure IOCs including boegl-krysl.eu, coppietersrecherche.eu, and beacon-surge-sync.workers.dev.
Detects potential exploitation of the libcurl CURLOPT_REQUEST_TARGET CRLF injection vulnerability via web/proxy request logs where curl user-agents are observed with carriage return/line feed characters or injected request lines within the URI path.
Sweeps network connection, HTTP/proxy, file, and process telemetry for exact matches against known Cling botnet indicators: dedicated STUN C2/operator IPs, Cling MIPS loader staging URLs, and known Cling sample SHA256 hashes. Tightened to exclude broad domain-level matching on stun.l.google.com (legitimate, ubiquitous Google STUN infrastructure that Cling spoofs/abuses rather than owns) and to match payload-staging hosts only by full URL rather than bare IP, reducing false positives from shared/compromised hosting and unrelated legitimate STUN traffic.
Sweeps network, process command-line and URL-click telemetry for the Kimsuky payload C2 domain and its subdomains using an anchored match, which avoids lookalike or suffix-matching domains.
Detects potential prompt injection or jailbreak attempts against Ollama API endpoints by identifying requests with abnormally long response times. Attackers often craft complex, layered prompts designed to bypass AI safety controls, which typically result in extended processing times as the model attempts to parse and respond to these malicious inputs. This detection monitors /api/generate and /api/chat endpoints for requests exceeding 30 seconds, which may indicate sophisticated jailbreak techniques, multi-stage prompt injections, or attempts to extract sensitive information from the model.
Sweeps proxy, firewall and endpoint network telemetry for requests to the three published BraZetsu Pastebin dead-drop raw URLs used to retrieve the XOR-encrypted C2 config.
Detects the PatchAgent Stage 3 HTTP C2 protocol recovered from the decrypted shellcode: plain HTTP requests to /api/checkin, /api/cmd/, or /api/result/ combined with the hardcoded, truncated User-Agent "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64)" (a real browser UA continues past this). Matching the API path plus the exact short UA keeps this durable across C2 IP rotation (observed on 46.30.188[.]99 and 185.228.83[.]217, port 8443).
Detects HTTP requests to a Cloudflare Workers subdomain
(*.workers.dev) targeting the /token/v1/{UID} signaling endpoint, originating
from a headless Chrome user agent. Chaos ransomware's msaRAT offloads all C2
signaling to the browser via CDP-injected JavaScript, performing WebRTC SDP
Offer/Answer exchange through this trusted developer platform to evade domain
reputation blocking.

Detects web traffic where a non-Google hosted domain serves pages containing both Google Form lookalike patterns and login/sign-in lookalike paths within a short timeframe (30 minutes), indicative of a credential harvesting or phishing campaign.
The following analytic detects Zeek HTTP requests using methods outside a configurable allowlist of standard and commonly used HTTP methods.
Unusual methods can indicate protocol abuse, exploitation attempts, or command-and-control traffic.
Review the method, source, destination, and URI to assess the activity.

Restricted to browser processes and successful connections, excludes dev/code-hosting domains, and matches users by mailbox alias (DeviceInfo LoggedOnUsers holds UserName, not full email).
Detects the Mir0Auth phishing kit sequence within a single HTTP flow: POST /task_queue.cs beacon followed by POST /context.go device-code request, both with application/octet-stream bodies. Requires both requests (flowbits) and exact path endings to limit false positives. SIDs made unique.
Detects bursts (3+ in 60s) of octet-stream POSTs to URI paths ending in .cs/.go/.rs, matching Mir0Auth XOR-obfuscated C2. Path must be a single short segment and the threshold is raised to cut noise from dev/API traffic.
Sweeps proxy, firewall and endpoint network telemetry for requests to the three published BraZetsu Pastebin dead-drop raw URLs used to retrieve the XOR-encrypted C2 config.
