Detects reconnaissance commands (e.g., file listing, directory enumeration) executed as child processes of the JFrog Artifactory service. This behavior is often associated with the exploitation of Artifactory plugins or misconfigured endpoints that allow arbitrary code execution, enabling an attacker to perform discovery actions.
Detects a sequence of suspicious behaviors on a single host within a 1-hour window, indicative of an adversary establishing a foothold and preparing for malicious activity. The pattern involves: 1) System architecture discovery, 2) Downloading files from an external IP address, 3) Changing permissions of files in temporary directories (e.g., /tmp, /var/tmp, /dev/shm), and 4) Executing files directly from those same temporary directories.

Detects rapid enumeration of sensitive system information files (CPU info, command line, device ID, node data) by processes executing from transient or commonly abused directories like /tmp, /var/tmp, or /dev/shm, as well as processes identified with specific malware naming patterns. This behavior often indicates an initial discovery phase by a threat actor or automated malicious agent.

Detects HVNC backdoor payload containing hardcoded AV/EDR process names combined with process enumeration APIs and a hex-suffixed mutex naming pattern, reducing false positives from generic AV name or API string matches alone

This rule detects potentially unauthorized access or attempts to copy sensitive SSH keys (e.g., id_rsa, id_ed25519) by command-line utilities (such as cat, cp, tar, scp, or curl) or when triggered by automation-related process names like 'terraform'. It monitors both process command lines and file events to identify staging or exfiltration activities.

This rule detects potential web shell activity by identifying suspicious PHP file creation within Magento-style product cache directories and the execution of find commands targeted at searching for PHP files in the web directory. This behavior is indicative of an attacker attempting to plant a web shell and subsequently enumerating web files for further exploitation.
Detects the creation or modification of specific files within the /tmp directory, specifically those matching naming patterns associated with 'jasper-log' files or temporary pipe files. These patterns are often associated with temporary storage or data staging activities during post-exploitation or malware execution.
