Bring detection rules from a GitHub repository directly into your detections.ai Detection Library.

GitHub Sync is available to both community and enterprise users. This walkthrough shows how to configure the GitHub integration, connect a public repository, sync its detection rules, and choose between manual and automatic syncing.

Once connected, the rules from your repository appear in your detections.ai library, ready for your team to access.

How to sync a GitHub repository with detections.ai

Use GitHub Sync to bring detection rules from a remote repository directly into your detections.ai Detection Library.

Set it up by:

  1. Add the detection rules you want to sync to a GitHub repository.
  2. Open Integrations in your detections.ai workspace.
  3. Find GitHub and select Configure.
  4. Paste the public URL for your GitHub repository.
  5. Click Connect to begin the initial sync.
  6. Choose whether the repository should sync manually or automatically.
  7. Open Detection Library to confirm that the rules from your repository are available.
