Detects PHP exposure to CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619 (PHP2Shell): installed packages below the fixed versions 8.2.35, 8.3.36, 8.4.27 and 8.5.12 or on branches the advisories do not cover, devices that Defender Vulnerability Management flags for either CVE, and PHP processes that ran in the last 30 days on devices with no PHP package in the inventory. Every row carries the live CISA KEV status of both CVEs and internet facing devices are listed first. A last row shows the KEV feed row count and newest entry date, so an empty result can be told apart from an empty or outdated feed. It does not show whether exploitation took place and appliances that embed PHP need their vendor advisories. The query ran without errors in a live tenant.

Inventory hunting query for the two critical PHP remote code execution vulnerabilities CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619, known as PHP2Shell. PHP released the fixes on 21 October 2026 in versions 8.2.35, 8.3.36, 8.4.27 and 8.5.12. The query returns two kinds of rows. First, installed PHP packages in the Defender Vulnerability Management inventory whose version is below the fixed version of their branch or that belong to a branch the advisories do not cover (8.1 and older). Second, devices that Defender Vulnerability Management already associates with either CVE. Results show whether each device is internet facing and list those devices first. The query reads the Defender Vulnerability Management tables, so it runs in Defender XDR Advanced Hunting only. It lists installed versions and does not show which PHP build serves web requests or whether exploitation took place. Windows installs from zip archives are not inventoried and unusual package names are not matched. The second part can stay empty until Defender Vulnerability Management has processed the CVEs. The query follows the Microsoft Defender advanced hunting schemas and ran without errors in a live tenant.

Hunting query for the ConnectWise Cloud Backup (SkyKick) application credential abuse reported in October 2026. It returns three signals, sorted by a Priority column. First, sign-ins by the seven ConnectWise and SkyKick application IDs from a public IP address. ConnectWise states the Cloud Backup app normally signs in from Azure private IPv6 addresses. Second, service principals that sign in from a public IP address in a country not seen in their 14-day baseline. This signal evaluates apps with at least 20 prior sign-ins. Third, Entra audit events initiated by applications. These include an application adding itself or another non-user identity to a directory role, an application adding or changing credentials for the first time in the baseline window and any credential change by an application named ConnectWise or SkyKick. Role additions with an unidentified target appear with Review priority. Audit events initiated by applications carry no source IP, so the IP indicator applies to the sign-in signals only. Routine credential changes by Azure services can still appear with Review priority. The query follows the Microsoft Defender advanced hunting schemas and runs without errors in Advanced Hunting. The audit signal was exercised against live Entra audit events in a Microsoft 365 tenant. Indicator columns are short-lived and used for enrichment only.

Detects a sequence of security-sensitive events in GitHub repositories where branch protection rules are modified or removed, followed closely by a force push to the protected repository, and subsequent workflow activity involving the Berri-AI/litellm repository or similar context. This pattern often indicates malicious tampering with repository controls to introduce unauthorized code.

Detects configuration changes on the Zimbra server. Mail server configuration
controls routing, authentication and logging; a change can create a delivery path,
weaken authentication, or stop the server recording what happens next.

Onboarding: ZIMBRA is ingested via Syslog (Bloo extractor 123).
Integration guide: https://bloo.io/docs/hypercloud/syslog-connector

BQL (Bloo Query Language):

Detects configuration changes on F5 BIG-IP. Changing a virtual server, pool or
iRule can silently redirect application traffic to infrastructure the attacker
controls — users reach the same hostname and notice nothing, while traffic takes a
different path.

Onboarding: F5BIGIP is ingested via Syslog (Bloo extractor 81).
Integration guide: https://bloo.io/docs/hypercloud/syslog-connector

BQL (Bloo Query Language):

Detects configuration changes on the FortiWeb WAF. Disabling a signature, adding an
exclusion or switching a policy to monitor-only removes protection from the
application behind it — and because the application keeps working normally, nothing
else signals that the control has gone.

Onboarding: FORTIWEB is ingested via Syslog (CEF) (Bloo extractor 115).
Integration guide: https://bloo.io/docs/hypercloud/syslog-connector

BQL (Bloo Query Language):

The following analytic detects the disabling of security jobs in CircleCI pipelines. It leverages CircleCI log data, renaming and extracting fields such as job names, workflow IDs, user information, commit messages, URLs, and branches. The detection identifies mandatory jobs for each workflow and checks if they were executed. This activity is significant because disabling security jobs can allow malicious code to bypass security checks, leading to potential data breaches, system downtime, and reputational damage. If confirmed malicious, this could result in unauthorized code execution and compromised pipeline integrity.

Detects configuration changes on a Barracuda load balancer. Load balancer
configuration decides where traffic goes; altering a backend pool redirects users to
a destination of the attacker's choosing while the hostname and certificate they see
remain entirely legitimate.

Detects configuration changes to the PAM platform itself. Vault configuration governs
who may retrieve which credentials and what is recorded; altering it is how an
attacker grants themselves durable privileged access while suppressing the evidence
of having done so.

Changes made by an account that does not normally administer the vault are the ones
worth escalating.

Onboarding: PAM360 is ingested via Syslog (Bloo extractor 879).
Integration guide: https://bloo.io/docs/hypercloud/syslog-connector

BQL (Bloo Query Language):

stream=configuration where sourcename='PAM360' and action='CONFIGURATION_CHANGED'
| groupby user, config, srcip, role
