Correlates a successful OAuth device-code sign-in with a subsequent Microsoft Authentication Broker / Device Registration Service event for the same user within 30 minutes, excluding known legitimate device-code applications (Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell, Visual Studio, VS Code) and requiring both events to have succeeded. The correlation is further restricted to cases where the device-registration event originates from a different IP address or city than the original device-code sign-in -- the pattern expected when an attacker uses a stolen token to register their own device and mint a Primary Refresh Token, versus a legitimate user completing device enrollment from their own network shortly after a CLI/developer login.

Detects post-exploitation shell activity spawned from the IIS worker process (w3wp.exe), narrowed to command lines carrying encoded/obfuscated PowerShell flags, remote-download cradles, or basic recon/persistence commands (whoami, certutil, bitsadmin, schtasks, reg add). This reduces noise from benign w3wp.exe-initiated automation while retaining the behavioral pattern seen in the Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX unauthenticated RCE chain (webshell/in-memory DLL execution dropping to a shell).
Detects network activity and HTTP traffic associated with the Iron Man System kit, specifically targeting hardcoded C2 infrastructure (IP-based) and lure domain patterns involving specific brand tokens combined with disposable TLDs.
This rule monitors network traffic, DNS queries, and user web clicks to detect interactions with known malicious domains associated with credential harvesting and phishing campaigns, specifically those impersonating security or SSO portals.
This rule performs a hunting activity across multiple telemetry sources (Network, Email, Endpoint) to detect known indicators of compromise (IOCs) associated with Anthropic threat intelligence reporting (September 2026). It looks for specific malware file names, command-line patterns, service installations, phishing email addresses, and C2 communication URLs.
Detects potential exploitation of CVE-2025-3248 in Langflow by identifying suspicious inbound network traffic targeting the /api/v1/validate/code endpoint, correlated with subsequent python child processes containing base64 decoding and execution primitives such as eval, exec, or subprocess.
This rule detects email-based business fraud (BEC) targeting the organization, specifically looking for executive impersonation paired with financial lure terminology and sender domain mismatches. It utilizes both a blocklist of known fraudulent sender indicators (domains and addresses) and a heuristic approach analyzing discrepancies between the envelope sender domain and the header sender domain combined with executive titles in display names and invoice-related keywords.
Detects rapid, non-interactive ransomware-like behavior characterized by system reconnaissance followed by automated bulk file deletion of model/data files (e.g., .ckpt, .pt). The rule identifies campaigns where discovery, lateral movement or automated execution, and destructive impact occur within a 3-hour window without any interactive user login evidence.
Detects host-based activity or network communication associated with the SloppyRAT remote access trojan. The rule monitors for specific malicious file hashes and connection attempts to known C2 IP addresses and domains.
